How do I care for my horse tack?

Taking care of your leather horse tack is essential so it stays in tip-top condition, so you stay safe and it lasts you longer.

You should regularly;

Remove any mud and sweat with a damp sponge
Afterwards, dry with a clean cloth and then apply some leather treatment to keep it nice and supple
Wash your saddle pad according to the manufacturers instructions.
Check the leather to ensure it is not cracked, stretched or broken especially under the buckles
Check the stitching

Repair or replace anything damaged as soon as you discover a problem
