Our Classic Range

The Classic range is our original range of Frank Baines saddles. Designed for functionality and performance, these models have stood the test of time and continue to be extremely popular amongst riders across the world.

I bought a Frank Baines Elegance for my new horse in January 2019. Nice classic saddle in a very good quality. The perfect saddle for a big warmblood.

Frequently asked questions

01
How do I store my saddle?

It is really important to store your saddle correctly. Caring for your saddle isn’t just about looking after the surface, leather is affected by climate conditions so we recommend that you:

  • Store your saddle and any accessories in a dry place, away from heat, sunlight and damp to prevent mould growth. It’s always a good idea to thoroughly clean and moisturise your saddle before storing
  • Use your Frank Baines Saddle cover to protect the surface of the leather during transportation and while it is being stored
  • If your saddle gets wet, remove water with a dry cloth. Then leave it to dry naturally away from direct heat.  Store it in a dry place
  • Do not stack your saddle as this can damage the flocking

There is no stockist near to me, can I still buy a saddle?

If you would like to buy one of our saddles but there is no Frank Baines stockist near to you, we may be able to work with the fitter of your choice. Please talk to the fitter you would like to work with and ask them to email us. We are sorry but we do not sell saddles direct to riders. This is because working with qualified fitters ensures you get the saddle that fits you and your horse perfectly.

03
How do I know if a saddle will fit?

The best way to ensure a saddle is the correct fit for both you and your horse is to work with a qualified saddle fitter. They will be able to take measurements and try different saddles to see what works best for you. They can also take photographs of your horses shape and send them to us.
